INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Cut a piece of Not Quite Navy Card Stock to measure 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". This is the Card Base. Fold it in half and crease it with the Bone Folder. The fold should be along the top.
2) Cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock to measure 4&qu
ot; x 4". Adhere it to the Not Qutie Navy Card Base using SNAIL Adhesive.
3) Cut a piece of Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper to measure 3 3/4" x 3 3/4". Adhere it to the Cherry Cobbler Card Stock using SNAIL Adhesive.
4) Cut a piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock to measure 2 1/4" x 3 3/4".
5) Using the Brush Tip of the Stampin' Write Marker, color directly onto the Ship Stamp. Color the Water, Not Quite Navy, the Ship, Early Espresso and the Flag, Cherry Cobbler. Huff on the colored stamp to reactivate the ink. DO NOT blow because it will dry the ink. Stamp the image towards the right hand side.
6) Repeat this process with the Ledger Stamp. The Ledger Stamp is bigger then what you need, but color a large portion to fill in the area that is left of the Ship. Stamp the image. Make sure that there is a scrap piece of paper or Grid Paper under the Very Vanilla Card Stock before you stamp it, so you don't get ink on your table.
7) Cut a piece of Not Quite Navy Card Stock to measure 2 1/2" x 4". Adhere it to the stamped Very Vanilla Card Stock using SNAIL Adhesive.
8) Cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock to measure 2 3/4" x 4 1/4". Adhere it to the stamped Very Vanilla Card Stock Layers using SNAIL Adhesive.
9) Using the Paper Snips, cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine to measure 20". Wrap it around the stamped Very Vanilla Card Stock Layers three times as shown and tie a knot.
10) Adhere the stamped Very Vanilla Card Stock Layers to the Card Front as shown using 5 Stampin' Dimensionals.
11) Ink up the "happy birthday" Stamp from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set using the Brush Tip of the Not Quite Navy Stampin' Write Marker. Don't forget to Huff on the stamp before you stamp it. Punch "happy birthday" out using the Modern Label Punch and adhere it as shown using 2 Stampin' Dimensionals.
12) Don't forget to clean your stamps with the Stampin' Scrub and the Stampin' Mist when you are finished.
13) I hope that my brothers have a Very Happy Birthday. They deserve it.
