See why I am bummed about the news about Stampin’ Up Peaceful Moments retiring.
One of my favorite sentiment stamp sets, Stampin’ Up Peaceful moments – retiring this month, has been so useful to me that I thought I should mention it to you all before it’s gone forever.
This stamp set has 10 phrases in such pretty mixed fonts and I love that I can combine it with so many other styles of stamps and motifs. It’s really the perfect LBD – little black dress – stamp set for just about every occasion that is card worthy. Take a look:

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments is a great combination of encouraging and comforting, celebrating and consoling. I love these sets that let me have the right words at the right time without having to dig through multiple sets to find!
I featured this stamp set on two different cards – one congratulatory and one consoling. Here’s the first one:

You can see how using Stampin’ Dimensionals let me add several layers to create depth and dimension with this mostly monochromatic card. You can see the original post and all the details free in the original post right here.
And here’s the sympathy card I made. I used a different monochromatic color scheme and used the same design of layers to add that dimension. For the details for how to make this, you can go here and check it out.

Sentiment sets are a great way to be able to make lots of different occasion cards because when you have the right words, the design can really be secondary. You can put together any of your favorite colors, motifs, designs, etc together and make a stack of cards with no sentiment. Then, when you have a reason to send a card, you can stamp any one of these heartfelt sentiments and then add it to your partially made project.
The Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments retiring IS a bummer because, again it has such great sentiments. If you don’t already have it you may want to snap it up now before it sells out! And if you’d like to get a copy of the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue which will be arriving soon, let me know in the comments and I will get one right to you as soon as they arrive!
