Sometimes you need a quick and easy card on a short notice. This “Thinking of You” Card uses scraps of Designer Series Paper. If need be, it can be stepped up to made a more intricate design.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fold Thick Basic White Card Base. Score at 4-1/4” using Simply Scored Scoring Tool. Then crease it using the Bone Folder. If you fold in half and crease it with the Bone Folder without using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool, the Card Base may crack and not fold where you want it to. This is because the Thick Basic White Card Base is thicker than the regular Basic White CS. The fold should be along the left hand side. Set aside.
2. Choose 5 patterns from the Pansy Petals DSP. Remember that this DSP is 2 sided, so you can flip it over and use the other side. Cut the strips into 3/4” x 4”. Lay them out on the Card Base and figure out what the spacing is and where you want to stamp “thinking of you”
3. Did you notice that the stamp says “Always thinking of you”, but my card says “thinking of you”. Take and adhere pieces of Scotch Tape over the word “Always”. Ink up the stamp, including the word “Always” & Scotch Tape. Remove that inky Scotch Tape BEFORE you stamp the wording. If you mess it up. No problem – move one of the strips of DSP and repeat this process and stamp it again.
4. Lift up one of the strips of DSP and adhere it using Stampin’ Seal. If you adhere one strip at a time, it helps maintain the spacing. Repeat this process until all of them are adhered.
5. Adhere the Bumblebee 2021-2023 In Color Square Jewels using the Mini Spatula end of the Take Your Pick.
6. Decorate inside of Card with stamps/DSP as desired.
7. Decorate Envelope if you choose.
