Q: I purchase a Clear Mount Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! and I can't get the Clear Label with the picture on it, to stick to the Rubber Stamp? What am I doing wrong?
A: There are 3 parts the Clear Mount Rubber Stamps ~ The Rubber Stamp itself, the Gray Foam Backing, and the Clear Label with the picture on it.
The Clear Label is sandwiched between 2 white pieces of paper to protect it from getting dirty and so nothing sticks to the adhesive. To expose the sticky side of the Clear Label, look for the White Label that has a split in it. Remove that side. Try not to touch the sticky part.
The Rubber Stamp comes with the Gray Foam Backing attached to it, but there is a White Label that covers the Gray Foam Backing to keep it clean. I think that you haven't removed that White Label. The Clear Label won't stick to that White Label. Once you remove the White Label, the Clear Label will be able to stick to the Gray Foam Backing.
