If you don't know what a Brayer #102395 is you are missing out on a lot.
It is a Soft Rubber Roller that is 4 1/2" wide with a Hard Acrylic Handle.
It is great for adding color evenly to a large area, like the front of a card or for inking up a large stamp.
The trick to using it, is to make sure that the entire roller is inked up. The Classic Stampin' Pads aren't as wide as the Brayer, so you would ink up one side and then lift the Brayer up and move it to ink up the other side.
Always ink it up in one direction, but when you are applying the ink to the Card Stock, it is best to go back and forth, using a little bit of press, in all directions to ensure even, blended coverage.
To clean the Brayer, I roller it on a piece of Scrap Paper or my Grid Paper #102787, to remove any excess ink. Then I use the Stampin' Scrub #102642 and Stampin' Mist #102394 to thoroughly clean it. I clean it as soon as I am finished to minimize the staining of the rubber. If the ink is left on it too long it will stain it. You will be still able to use it is stained, but you run the risk of old dry ink being transferred to lighter ink in future projects.
