People are always stumped for inspiration to make a Card.I used this bouquet of Tulips to inspire this beautiful Tulip Card. I wanted to make a very special "Thinking of You" Card and I think that I was able to do so.

You can create beautiful Punch Art using Punches. They are so versatile and worth every penny. I used the Wing found in the Bird Builder Punch #117191 to create the Tulips, the Branch to create the Leaves and the Ornament Punch #119847 to create the Flower Vase. Card Making ~ Where to find Ideas?

Bouquet of Tulips Inspiration

It is hard sometimes to come up with an idea to make a Card, but you can find ideas everywhere. All you have to do is look around you for inspiration.

I recently bought this beautiful bouquet of Tulips from the local Superstore.

It was a very stormy, cold day here in Halifax, Nova Scotia and I just needed something to get rid of the Winter Blues. As I was checking out, I saw this bouquet of Tulips and I had to have them. They actually made me smile.

I was drawn to the vibrant colors and thoughts that Spring would soon be here.

I challenge you to use this photo to inspire a Card, Scrapbook Page or Paper Craft Project.

Check out nancyfancystamping.com, tomorrow for the Punch Art Card that was inspired by this bouquet of Tulips. You won't be disappointed.

2 Ways to Protect Cards When You Mail Them?

Do you want to protect your Embellished and "Bumpy" when you mail them? You have put all this time, money and effort into making a Beautiful Card. You don't want them to get ruined in the mail.

Crimper #101618

Two Ways to Protect them:
1) a) Cut a piece of Card Stock to measure the same size as your Card Front. b) Run it slowly through the Crimper #101618. c) Lay the Crimped piece of Card Stock over the front of your Embellished Card and insert both into an Envelope. This will help to protect your Card.

Padded Envelope #116911

2) Stampin' Up! sells Padded Envelopes #116911 that will protect your Treat Cups Cards ~ Circle Treat Cups #116802 and Heart Treat Cups #120435, Stampin' Sound Card #121009 and an Embellished Card. You will require Extra Postage to mail these Envelopes, but at least your Cards will arrive intact.

Stampin’ Up! Instructional Video ~ Paper Doily Large Sizzlit Die #125592

I have had a couple of questions about the Paper Doily Large Sizzlits Die #125592. I found a great Instructional Video done by Carrie Cudney of the Stampin' Up! Company.
In this video she demonstrates how to make the Paper Doily Large Sizzlits Die Card on page 7 of the 2012 Occasions Mini Catalogue.

What is the difference between Classic and Craft Ink?

Q: I am new to Rubber Stamping and I noticed that Stampin' Up! offers Classic and Craft Ink. What is the difference?
A: The Classic Ink is a Dye Based Ink, which means that it dries really quickly.  Once you stamp the image it dries and you don't have to do anything else. This is the best Ink for Beginners.
All of the colors come in the Large Classic Stampin' Pads and it is the most popular Ink that Stampin' Up! sells.
The Craft Ink is a Pigment Ink, which means that it is sticky and dries slowly. It stays wet so you can add Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set the image using a Heat Tool #100005. The image will be raised and not flat like when you used the Classic Ink.
Stampin' Up! only sells Large Craft Ink Pads in Very Vanilla #104308, Whisper White #101731 and Basic Black #102192. They sell all of the colors they offer by Color Families (In Color, Brights, Subtles, Regals and Neutrals) in Craft Stampin' Spots. Craft Stampin' Spots are small 1" x 1" Stamp Pads.
If you would like the Large Craft Stamp Pads, you would purchase an Uninked Craft Stampin' Pad #122265 and the Craft Stampin' Ink Refill in the color of your choosing and ink up the Stamp Pad yourself.

Does Stampin’ Up! Sell Chocolate Chip Embossing Powder?

Uninked Craft Stampin' Pad #122265

Recently I had a customer ask if Stampin' Up! still sells Chocolate Chip Stampin' Emboss Powder. Unfortunetly they don't, but I have a solution. All you need is an Uninked Craft Stampin' Pad #122265, Chocolate Chip Craft Stampin' Ink Refill #102847, Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder #109130, Powder Pals #102197 and a Heat Tool #100005.

1) Ink up the Uninked Craft Stampin' Pad using the Chocolate Chip Craft Stampin' Ink Refill.
2) Stamp the image and hold it over a Powder Pal. Pour the Clear Embossing Powder over the image. The Craft Ink is sticky and the Clear Emboss Powder will stick to it.
3) Tap off the excess Clear Emboss Powder onto the Powder Pal and return it to the jar.
4) Heat set the image using a Heat Tool.
5) The Chocolate Chip color won't be as intense a color as if you used Chocolate Chip Stampin' Emboss Powder, but it will be an Embossed raised image.

I hope this helps.
